Moxy
OK, I'm putting my moxy where my mouth is. Last post, I confessed I'm learning how to overcome my fear of being seen/heard, and am actually seeking the stage I have avoided for thirty plus years. So here goes, folks. I'm beginning to record my original work and present it LIVE and IN COLOR. Well, almost. You can listen to the MP3 of my latest essay "Seeing" right here, right now. More will follow. I've also ordered some nifty recording software (and hardware) to allow me to record Duirwaighs and Dreamfields, a True Fairy Tale. My family and friends are trying to convince me to also make videos, so who knows what'll follow. Stay tuned! Meanwhile, enjoy this presentation of Seeing.

It is beautifully read. You would be perfect for the stage. Your voice is very reminiscent of the female vocals in some of my favourite animated films, some of which have also made it to the stage as well, such as Beauty and the Beast. It is filled with all the inflections of faerie-tales, the nuances of spirit-lifting speeches, and all the intricacies of YOU ... of ANGI - your beauty, your resolve, your spiritedness and your song. I wait impatiently for more. You'll steal their breath away. Go for it!

Oh Angi, I had just been berating myself all morning that I wasn't all I should be, listening to that critical voice in my head which keeps me wallowing in my past failures. And after listening to your voice and realizing once again that I AM beautiful and amazing and glorious and YES, I am God's gift, I just sat there, tears rolling down my cheeks and it was like a little angel was sitting on my shoulder telling me how loved I am. Thank you for your voice, written and now heard. More, More, we want MORE!!!

Your voice SO matches what I had imagined!! I can now easily see why your friends and family have been urging you to do this. It takes your already fantastically inspired words, and infuses them with all that lovely inflection and character that only the spoken word can have. I can't wait for more!!
