A Knock at the Door CONTEST

A Knock at the Door will be enjoying its second printing and first major market release in June 2008. The first edition was created by Duirwaigh Publishing, but this second edition will mark its debut in a larger arena for retailers like Barnes and Noble and Borders. Published by Amber Lotus, A Knock at the Door second edition features four new artists and sixteen new works of art and a spankin' new cover by Matt Stewart. We'll be posting the new edition of the DVD here in the next few days.

To help us celebrate this auspicious occasion, Duirwaigh is hosting a Knock at OUR Door contest, with THREE WAYS TO WIN! You can Knock at OUR Door...

with Stories:
Tell us your "Knock at the Door" story. How did/does the film touch or inspire you? Share your stories of synchronicity, empowerment and inspiration. NOTE: this is not a writing contest. All participants who write their story will be entered in a drawing to win. Your physical letter (or your printed email) will be placed in a special box and one winner will be drawn on the evening of June 22 9pm EST. *See Contest Rules Below

Winner in this category receives: A signed copy of both the first and second edition of A Knock at the Door and an original Knock at the Door journal with an inscription by Angi and a drawing by Silas.

This contest (as opposed to the stories category) IS talent-based,and the winner will be chosen based on ability to convey inspiration with artistic excellence. Don't have a story to share? Not feeling artistically inclined? Not to worry! Just make sure you've signed our mailing list. If you're already on our mailing list, you're all set to participate! Members of our mailing list will receive a trivia question mailed to them on June 20, 2008. Answer it correctly by June 22th 12noon EST and your email address will be entered in a drawing to take place June 22nd at 9pm.

The Finale

Hi friends! Well, as our auction enters its final days, I thought I'd let you know that a very rare item has gone up for bid! It's our sample copy of the NEW "Knock at the Door" published by Amber Lotus, scheduled for release June 2008!

Sixteen new images have found their way into this publication and we're including two samples here.

The book up for auction is our sample copy, and has been signed by creators Angi Sullins and Silas Toball and bears an original DRAWING. It includes the new, updated five minute film on DVD in the back!


Also, two original chap books by Angi & Silas have posted: "Who Stole the Tarts" (a Wonderland original) and "Packing for Oz" (an Oz original!) There are also a number of new, signed prints from Message From the Muse.

We've got a big announcement coming up in a few days, so STAY TUNED! I smell a hint of contest-giveaway brewing in the air!!

Response to our auction has been wonderfully overwhelming. HOORAY! Less stuff to pack into moving vans.
