Linda Ravenscroft Faerie News
Linda Ravenscroft has a new tarot deck and it's perched in our Duirwaigh Tree! It's a lush deck, 78 images created by Linda, and a story by Barbara Moore woven through the imagery. To take a closer look, click here. Many of Linda's original paintings from the deck are finally able to be released for purchase and are available here. If you don't see the one you're looking for, send us an email. Most of the paintings from the deck are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We keep promising Linda's oracle deck will arrive soon, but the publishers are moving slow. They're European, so it must be that four o'clock coffee time that's slowing things down. In any event, Ellen Steiber has written a glorious book to accompany the deck. The official title is the "Faery Gem Oracle" and you'll love all the gem lore and how it ties into the and of Faerie. A few of the original paintings are available here. We'll let you know when the deck goes to print!
Linda's also got another calendar coming out this year. Two of them, actually!
The Woodland Faeries will be accompanied this year by Wayward Faeries: a collection of naughty nixies you're sure to love. Or hate. But love to hate. Look for them arriving on the Duirwaigh website later this summer.
Another piece of juicy news! Linda's just been asked to create a follow up to her book "How to Paint and Draw Faeries." Sometime next fall look for Linda's "How to Paint and Draw Fairyland." Sounds fun. We'll keep you posted and of course you can buy it here first!

Have you seen our latest project? On a recent trip through the world of imagination, I stumbled across an old, forgotten graveyard. The sculptures, stones, moss, trees and leaves were alive, whispering the wisdom of ages. I hope the haunting beauty of their message shines through this film. We're working on a coffee table book of the guardians who allowed me to photograph them and the magic places they call home.
