It's our Debut!
This is Affirmation Monday's official debut onto the web, so in honor of our premiere edition, the topic this week is going to be "Newness." What new vision do you have for yourself or your world? What aspect within the depths of your being are you trying to bring into the light? What new idea or concept are you manifesting? Or are you hoping for a new career? A new home? A new relationship? There is no judgment here, so whatever "new" you want to visualize is welcome.
Please remember to list the permalink only. And please, before posting the first time, visit our rules and guidelines link, just to make sure we're all on the same cyber page!
Update: THE FORM BELOW is for your NAME and the URL to your affirmation artwork. Please do not give a general link to your website, but the permalink or hyperlink directly to the page on which you've posted your art-firmation! We've had to delete a few names, due to the fact there was no active link provided in the URL field. You must use both the name and link field to have your link published. Having problems? Contact us for help.
I'm so eager to see what others create for Monday! I will be making my own special "AM" blog to post my images, though it won't be ready until next week. Until then, just the direct link will have to do. ;)

I received your link, this morning, from a friend, and have added a page with a photo and a poem. I look forward to participating and to viewing others' contributions.
Best wishes,
Liz

Full of Hope
Sometimes through the winter months
it is so easy to lose sight of hope.
In the gloomy, dark days of winter
when the air is crisp and cold,
I often fall quickly into the land
of my shadows.
Most of life seems difficult,
dreams never seem to be fulfilled.
Doubt and fears walk beside me
and hope seems so far away.
Then one day
the winter passes
and the first flowers of Spring
begin to push through the cold earth
and before long they begin to bloom.
How quickly hope returns to me!
As nature puts on her colors of beauty
and dabs her scent upon the air
hope awakens once again.
Dreams are dreamed once again
and any thing seems possible!
Standing out side I deeply breathe
the sweet smell of Spring into my lungs.
My eyes rejoice as they look upon the beauty
of nature unfolding all around me.
My heart sighs
and knows another winter is now past
and once again beats with the sound of
hope!
I kneel upon the earth and feel the beating
of our Mother’s heart.
I look upon the beauty of the flowers
she covers herself with
and I gently touch each blossom and leaf.
My voice speaks words of gratitude
as beauty fills my Soul
and hope fills my heart.
